Environment Department response to media enquiry from Guernsey Press.
Media Enquiry from Guernsey Press:
I noticed new stickers have gone on the planning applications warning people about taking photos. Can I ask whether there has been an increased problem with this and how the department deals with people who do take pictures. Can I also check why it is important that people don't take pictures?
Response:
Advances in technology have resulted in an increase in the potential for digital recording of images. To ensure that copyright obligations are respected and to avoid potential embarrassment to customers and staff small reminder, stickers have been added to the public application files.
