This years Annual Independent Fiscal Review, (the third in the series) is published today.
It is the second report in the series by Prof. Geoffrey Wood, Professor Emeritus of Economics at Cass Business School in London and Professor Emeritus of Monetary Economics at the University of Buckingham. The role of this report is to provide an independent, external, assessment of the States' fiscal conduct against the criteria in the Fiscal Framework. The Framework sets out clear numerical parameters and commits the States to long-run permanent balance.
