The Environment Department has issued a Gazette Notice in yesterday's Guernsey Press informing the public of a number of proposed changes to the itinerary, time table and fare table for the Public Omnibus Summer Scheduled Bus Services to be operated by CT Plus Guernsey Ltd with effect from Sunday 12 May 2013.
The Gazette Notice gives 14 days for comments to be sent to the Minister, Environment Department prior to a final decision being taken by the Board as to the services that will actually be operated this Summer.
Further details of the proposals are available on the Bus operator's website www.buses.gg. Just click on the tab on the left hand side of the home page marked "A new summer network" which provides a link to further details on the planned changes and an explanation of why they are being proposed. A Public Presentation detailing the proposals is to be held at Hautes Capelles School at 6.30pm on Monday 18 March. All interested parties are encouraged to attend this presentation.
Should anyone require further information on or clarification of any of the proposed changes, they can call the Department's Passenger Transport Section (Tel: 202228) between 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday - Friday. However, formal representations regarding the proposed changes will only be accepted in writing.
