The Scrutiny Panel appointed to undertake a review into the non-disclosure of information relating to the settlement with AFR Advocates has today published its summary report and the uncorrected Hansard transcription of last week's public hearing.
On 8 March 2013, the Scrutiny Committee announced the appointment of a Panel to undertake the review, chaired by Scrutiny Committee chairman Alderney Representative Paul Arditti and comprising Deputies Peter Gillson, Rob Jones, and Paul Le Pelley.
The Review Panel held a public hearing on 21 March 2013, at which the Minister for the Home Department gave evidence.
The Review Panel has published an uncorrected version of the Hansard transcript, which is appended to the report and is available to download at: Scrutiny Review - AFR Settlement - Summary Report and Uncorrected Hansard Transcript [7Mb]
The Home Department has been given an opportunity to request any corrections to the transcript before the final version is published. The transcript appended to the Panel's report should therefore be considered as subject to correction.
[Addendum: the corrected version of the Hansard transcript was published on 5 April 2013 and is available to download at: Urgent Business Scrutiny Review - Non-disclosure of information by the Home Department relating to the negotiated settlement with AFR Advocates [7Mb]]
