The Treasury and Resources and Social Security Departments administer three significant investment funds with a combined total assets of just over £2.3 billion. These are the Superannuation Fund which underpins the pension arrangements for public sector employees, the General Investment Pool (which includes the Core Investment Reserve and various capital balances), and the Common Investment Fund which underpins the social security provision for islanders.

Please note each of the funds have different liabilities which is reflected in different return objectives, risk profiles and investment structures. As a consequence the returns are not comparable.
