I've just spoken to someone who is working at the site and understand that only half of the car park is being repaired. Is the department able to comment on why this is/if it will be done at a later date? If possible, could this be included in the department's response?

Environment Department's response:
The half that is being done is the worst affected section because it is the half that has the most vehicles using it (due to its proximity to the kiosk) and is therefore subject to the most wear. All 41 car parks have been assessed and prioritised for repair work. The Department has a limited budget and so those car parks that require urgent maintenance are being targeted first. The half of the car park furthest away from the kiosk has been given a lower priority and there are no plans to do works to this section for this round of works.
