Total population figures for June and September of 2014 are now available from www.gov.gg/population.
The successful completion of the Rolling Electronic Census Project means that population figures for Guernsey are now available with a frequency and turn-around time unparalleled by other jurisdictions. The intention is to provide population updates each quarter between the fuller annual Reports, the next one of which is due to be published in January 2016, giving decision makers the most up to date information possible at all times.
The innovative and pioneering nature of the Rolling Electronic Census has been recognised across Britain and as a result the Project has been short-listed for a national award; the Next Generation Digital Challenge Open Data Award. Please see
