Local Administration & Experiences of Parish Communities Community & Administration

There are ten island parishes or local administration areas called St. Peter Port, St.Sampson's, Vale, Castel, St. Saviour's, St. Peter's-in-the Wood (St Pierre du Bois), Torteval, the Forest, St Martin's and St. Andrew's. Everyone living in Guernsey is part of a local parish community and can enjoy the pleasures of community life as well as needing to be aware of any particular administrative requirements of their local area.
