Contracts of Employment
A contract of employment is a legally binding agreement made between an employer and employee when a job applicant accepts an offer of employment.
It forms the basis of the employment relationship. In this section you will find information about employment contracts and the employee's right to a written statement of the 12 main terms and conditions of that employment.
You will also find information as to why changes to contractual terms are sometimes necessary and how these changes can be made.
