VAT and other certificates of status
On request, the Director will issue the following certificates:
- A signed and stamped certificate to an individual or body registered with the Guernsey Tax Office, for the purposes of that individual or body claiming VAT refunds (commonly referred to as a "VAT Certificate"). Such a certificate costs £25.00.
- A signed and stamped certificate to confirm that an individual or body is resident in Guernsey for Guernsey income tax purposes (commonly referred to as a "Residence Certificate"). There is no charge for such a certificate.
- A signed and stamped certificate to confirm that an individual or body is registered in Guernsey for Guernsey income tax purposes (commonly referred to as a "Registration Certificate"). There is no charge for such a certificate.
