Planning Appeals
The Planning Panel was established in April 2009 under the Land Planning and Development (Guernsey) Law, 2005 as an independent statutory body to determine appeals against planning decisions made by the Environment Department
The Planning Panel whilst assisted administratively through the Policy Council is independent of any States' Department or body, It is supported by its own Secretariat and operates within the provisions set out in The Land Planning and Development (Appeals) Ordinance 2007.
Anybody wishing to appeal a decision of the Environment Department should, in the first instance consult the guidance notes and other information on this website.

2011 Annual Report
The Panel's 2011 Annual Report was published on 17 August 2012.
