Electoral roll closing date
A new Electoral Roll is being created for use in the 2012 General Election. All Islanders who wish to vote in the 2012 Election must therefore ensure that their details are included on the Roll before it closes on 29th February 2012.
Individuals can register on the new Electoral Roll online at www.election2012.gg.
Am I eligible to vote?
You can register to vote if you are:
- 15 or over (although you will not be able to vote until you are 16)
- have been resident in Guernsey for 5 years (with or without breaks) or 2 years continuously
- are ordinarily resident in Guernsey
- are not currently subject to a legal disability
