Quality Assured Accreditation for Tour Guides
Commerce & Employment offer Guernsey Quality Assured status to all trained and qualified guides at Silver or Gold Level
Accreditation is subject to meeting entry requirements. These include:
- Current certification at Silver or Gold level
- Membership of the Bailiwick of Guernsey Guild of Accredited Guides (BBGAG)
- Evidence of recent professional development
- Evidence of current activity status
Training is provided by BGGAG, with the support of the Guernsey College of Further Education.
All courses are educationally accredited through the college, as is the standard of delivery.
Tour guide activities are promoted through Culture & Leisure Department, as part of the Events strategy
