Other Guernsey Quality Assured Opportunities
In certain circumstances the Department can consider granting Quality Assured status to businesses or individuals who can demonstrate they meet the Department's accreditation criteria without undergoing direct assessment.
Recognition of Non-Departmental Accreditation
In certain circumstances the Department may take into account proof of annual accreditation by an outside organization to support an application for local accreditation -for example:
· The National Governing Body of a Sport or Activity-
in the latter case where this body is itself accredited by the AAIAC (Adventure Activities Industry Advisory Council)
· A Representative Trade Body,
· A National Charitable Institution
Applicants will need to demonstrate compliance with: the Department's minimum requirements for scheme participation; relevant legislation including Planning, Fire Safety, Health & Safety, Environmental Health and Child Protection law.
In addition they will need to provide evidence of adequate public liability employers insurance cover:
