As part of an on-going programme of improving bus waiting facilities, the Environment Department is pleased to advise passengers that it has recently installed two new bus shelters at exposed coastal locations on the Island.
The shelters are located on the landward side of the road at Rue D'Albecq, Castel (opposite Vazon Kiosk and adjacent to Crabby Jacks) and on the seaward side of Les Banques, St Peter Port (opposite Admiral Park).
In addition, a replacement shelter has also been installed at Les Bas Courtils, St Sampson's (near the junction with Grandes Maisons Road). This shelter replaces the previous one that had to be removed after it was severely damaged as the result of a motor traffic accident last year. This shelter has been replaced at no cost to the States.
