Finance Sector Development
Welcome to the Finance Development section of the States of Guernsey website.
The Commerce and Employment Department has a wide mandate designed to develop and support a diversified economy. With the restructuring of the committee system in 2004, responsibility for government liaison with the financial services sector was brought into the Commerce and Employment Department as a new, additional constituent resulting in the need for the Finance Sector Development Team.
The work of the Team covers many aspects relating to the financial services sector and is linked to the philosophies set out in Building Confidence, the Department’s guide for the next 2-3 years.
