24/11/2009 - High water temperatures continue: The sea water surface temperature at St Peter Port was 14⁰c on tuesday 24th November, the highest recorded for this time of year since records began in 1980.

30/11/2009 - New licence conditions sent to all Bailiwick of Guernsey license holders. Includes new condition  prohibiting  pair trawling within the 3 mile territorial waters of Guernsey Alderney and Sark. Also there is an extension of the trawling and netting ban within 0.5nm of the Boue Blondel between 1st November and the 30th April for the purpose of offering protection to aggregations of spawning and pre-spawning bass. A copy of the latest licence conditions is available for download on our Fishing vessel licencing section.
