The Commerce and Employment Department has issued a Briefing Paper announcing its conclusions following the recent consultation on the Post Office's Universal Service Obligation.

The Department has concluded that it has not found a compelling case to justify recommending to the States changes to the Universal Service Obligation. Feedback on the Briefing Paper is being invited.
