Culture Guernsey
Culture Guernsey offers financial support and advice to groups who are looking to organise events relating to performing arts, visual arts, local traditions, multicultural traditions and heritage-based events.
Events supported in the past include the Le Fete de la Musique a la Ville, the Guernsey Lily Film Festival, the Sarnia Rug Rats workshops and the Guernsey Jazz Festival. Culture Guernsey are always keen to support events which are of benefit to local residents, attract visitors to the Island and improve the visitor experience. Events which involve youth and can develop and educate those who take part are also more likely to receive support from Culture Guernsey.
How Do I Apply?
Culture Guernsey offers financial support in the form of either a direct grant towards a specific area of expenditure, post-event underwriting at an agreed value and/or a sponsorship “match” for an agreed amount. A downloadable application form and guidelines on applying for financial support are available in the right-hand column of this page. Please pay close attention to these guidelines, as they will ensure that you fill in the application form correctly, and prevent delays in us dealing with your request for support.
Also, downloadable versions of Culture Guernsey's logo are available from the right-hand column, in mono and colour .jpegs and .eps files. Please note that all event logos are for on-island use only in conjunction with relevant themed events and activities. You are also advised that only white, flat colour and image are acceptable backgrounds to the logo, and that the logo must be clearly visible and prominent.
