Culture Guernsey

With the formation of the Guernsey Arts Commission the management of the former Culture Guernsey Specialist Interest Group has passed to that body. It continues to offer financial support and advice to groups who are looking to organise events relating to performing arts, visual arts, local traditions, multicultural traditions and heritage-based events. The Arts Commission website is at www.arts.gg

Guernsey Arts Commission

The Arts Commission are always keen to support events which are of benefit to local residents, attract visitors to the Island and improve the visitor experience. Events which involve youth and can develop and educate those who take part are also more likely to receive support.

How Do I Apply?

The Arts Commission offers financial support in the form of either a direct grant towards a specific area of expenditure, post-event underwriting at an agreed value and/or a sponsorship “match” for an agreed amount. A downloadable application form and guidelines on applying for financial support are available in the right-hand column of this page. Please pay close attention to these guidelines, as they will ensure that you fill in the application form correctly, and prevent delays in us dealing with your request for support.

Enquiries on the process of application or the work of the Arts Commission generally should be sent to the Arts Development Officer, Joanna Littlejohns at info@artsdevelopment.gg
