Biological Records Centre

Recording and sharing information about wildlife in Guernsey

Introduction

Founded in January 2003, the Guernsey Biological Records Centre is a partnership between the States of Guernsey, Environment Department and La Société Guernesiaise through its environmental consultancy company, Guernsey Environmental Services Ltd.

The aim of the Guernsey Biological Records Centre is to gather, record, store, analyse, interpret and share local natural history information.  The Centre holds biological data primarily for the Bailiwick of Guernsey, but with some from the Bailiwick of Jersey, the Chausey Islands and the adjacent French coast.
