The Tribunal of Inquiry delivers its report to the Bailiff,

Presiding Officer of the States of Deliberation.

Pursuant to a resolution of the States of Deliberation in 2009, a Tribunal of Inquiry was appointed by the Royal Court under the provisions of The Tribunals of Inquiry (Evidence) (Guernsey) Law, 1949, as amended, to inquire into the facts and circumstances leading up to and surrounding the industrial action taken by the Airport Firefighters at Guernsey Airport in May 2009, including the circumstances in which that industrial action was resolved.

Oral hearings commenced on 14th December and were completed on 8th February 2010.

The Tribunal received over 2,000 pages of documents and it heard from 31 witnesses. Their statements and supporting material, core reference documents and transcripts of the evidence are all available using the drop down menus on the left handside of the page.

The Report was delivered on 23rd March 2010 to the Bailiff, Presiding Officer of the States of Deliberation and is published in Appendix 3 of Billet D'Etat IX 2010.
