The Institute of Health and Social Care Studies Library provides and promotes materials for education, information and research to students and staff of the Institute of Health and Social Care Studies and employees of the Health and Social Services Department.

The Library is staffed Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

24 hour access cards can be obtained by Library Members on payment of a £10 returnable deposit.

Library members are entitled to:

Borrow up to eight items at a time.

Access electronic journals and health databases via the E-Library. Contact the Library for relevant passwords.

Request books and photocopies of journal articles from other Libraries.

Request literature searches to be undertaken by the Librarian

Book individual or group training sessions on the use of the Library Catalogue, health databases or the Internet.
