A Career in Environmental Health
How to become an Environmental Health Practitioner
The role of an Environmental Health Practitioner
Environmental Health Practitioner is the title that the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) now uses to refer to Environmental Health Officers, although the jobs titles can be thought of as largely interchangeable.
The role of an Environmental Health Practitioner (EHP) is both varied and challenging and it covers many different areas including food safety, housing standards and environmental protection. Environmental Health Practitioners are qualified professionals that make a real difference to people’s health and well-being.
