The switchover date for the Channel Islands to move to digital television has been confirmed for Wednesday 17 November 2010.

Switchover will allow almost all households in the islands to receive digital television through an aerial for the first time.

The four analogue channels will be switched off and replaced with an expanded line up of around 15 digital TV channels, plus radio and text services.

Islanders need to ensure that their TVs are capable of receiving a digital signal in order to continue watching television after switchover.
