At the October 2005 meeting of the States, the Department is presenting a Report entitled “The Feasibility of a Self Build Scheme in Guernsey”

If the Report is accepted by the States:

•  A self build scheme will be deferred until such time as other more urgent social housing options have been delivered;
• A self build scheme will remain part of the Corparate Housing Programme, but it will be deferred until the provision of funding and land is available.
