At Guernsey Harbours we are responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Ports of St Peter Port and St Sampsons including their marinas, thus we cater to every element of the Island’s nautical community, including the responsibility for Search and Rescue in Bailiwick waters. We also provide commercial operators with sea-passenger and freight handling facilities, moorings for visiting yachtsmen and each year we play host to many nautical rallies, both national and international, as well as welcoming large numbers of cruise liners to our waters. Islanders are rightly proud of our maritime heritage and the Harbourmaster and the team at Guernsey Harbours work full time to maintain and enhance our excellent nautical reputation.
