The IRIS web site is the public view of the Island Roadworks Information System showing the planned and agreed roadworks.

An Environment Department led project, users can look at the roadworks for today, tomorrow, this week or next week and are able to zoom into areas of interest.

Also detailed are the contractor and the work that is being carried out, together with a start and end date.

The system is updated every couple of hours.

Internally within the States of Guernsey, the Utilities and the Parishes, a comprehensive e-work based workflow system has been set up, which manages the whole application, consultation and decision making procedure. The result of which is available to the public on the www.iris.gov.gg web site.
