The Easter Festival of Living History returns to Castle Cornet this Easter with a programme of events from Good Friday right through to Easter Monday.
The Easter Festival of Living History returns to Castle Cornet this Easter with a programme of events from Good Friday right through to Easter Monday.
On each day of the holiday weekend, The Guernsey History in Action Company will present poignant and amusing stories from Guernsey's colourful past when visitors can enjoy hearing of Lady Margaret's tale of her life at the Castle, discover Victory in the Baltic or see what happened After the Explosion.
Each day at 10:15 there is a guided tour of the castle, while historical characters such as Admiral Saumarez, General Brock and Mr Lukis will be 'Alive' and walking around over the weekend.
Regency dancers will also be performing live on Easter Monday afternoon while the Amherst Room in the Castle will be used for fun activities to keep children and families entertained.

Castle Cornet opens at 10:00 daily, with the final performance starting at 15:15.
