Outdoor Theatre performers Oddsocks will present their hilarious adaptation of Julius Caesar at Vale Castle rather than Castle Cornet this year.
The rows of formal seating will be gone, so theatre goers will now be able to sit together in groups using their own rugs or chairs and enjoy their own picnics during the play. Due to better accessibility, wheelchair users will be also able to see the madcap Outdoor Theatre productions for the first time.
Oddsocks producer Elli MacKenzie said
'After seventeen happy and successful years appearing at Castle Cornet, Oddsocks are very excited by the move to Vale Castle. The outer walls of the Castle enclose a grassy area making this a great space for theatre productions, we are sure the new venue will allow for a relaxed and fun atmosphere. The audience can picnic whilst the performance is in progress and we can now welcome those who use wheel chairs to come along and sample our unique Outdoor Theatre experience.'
Tickets are £15.50 for adults and £8.00 for children under 14, available from www.guernseytickets.gg or by telephoning the Box Office on 747 280. Tickets are also available from the Guernsey Information Centre, Beau Sejour Leisure Centre and Guernsey Museum & Art Gallery-.
