Thursday 04 March 2021
The scheduled public bus service will return to a full service, as per the existing timetable issued on 6 January 2020, once we enter Stage 2 of the exit from lockdown on Monday 8 March. The exception being that the Friday and Saturday night bus services are still suspended until we enter Stage 3.
Capacity restrictions on each bus will still be in place in order to maintain social distancing between passengers and face coverings will also remain a requirement on board in Stage 2, unless an exemption lanyard or card is presented to the driver.
Islanders are advised that cash fares will not be accepted on scheduled bus services but that contactless payment facilities are available on all buses. For those passengers that do not have access to contactless or smart card products, Pay as You Go (PAYG) 'orange' puffin passes are be available at a cost of £5 from the Terminus shop.
The existing full timetable, issued on 6 January 2020, can be viewed on the CT Plus website at www.buses.gg.
For journey planning please call CT Plus on 700456.
Active travel options such as walking and cycling to your destination continues to be encouraged wherever possible as a healthy and environmentally friendly alternative and as a method whereby social distancing can be maintained.
