To facilitate the half-marathon, cycling criterium, triathlon relay, men's football final and closing ceremony on 'Fantastic Friday', there will be various traffic management measures and parking suspensions in place.
People are encouraged to walk, cycle or make use of the free buses, with the bus terminus being relocated to North Beach car park on Friday 14th July until 8.35pm (the departure time of the last daytime service). The night buses will depart from the normal terminus at South Esplanade.
In town, additional bicycle spaces will be available on the South Esplanade under the trees adjacent to the normal bus terminus. Bicycle spaces continue to be in place on North Beach next to the existing cycle parking and near the petanque area. At Footes Lane, there will be additional space for cycles provided in the gravel car park near to the athletics track.
Those who are cycling will need to dismount and push their cycles to the various cycle parking areas once they reach the closed sections of road.
The Park and Stride/Ride at the top of Le Val de Terres is also available. Find out more at gov.gg/Island-Games-transport
