Guernsey Banking Deposit Compensation Scheme - Changes to Ordinance

This consultation is being issued on 27th April 2017 to seek feedback on proposed changes to the Guernsey Banking Deposit Compensation Scheme (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Ordinance, 2008 (the "Ordinance") to assist the Guernsey Banking Deposit Compensation Scheme to comply with certain core principles issued by the International Association of Deposit Insurers.

The intention is that responses will be considered by the Committee for Economic Development which will in turn produce recommendations in respect of changes to the Ordinance, if felt appropriate. Members of the public are invited to make submissions by 16th June 2017.
