Road users are being advised that the parking spaces around the perimeter of North Beach car park will be suspended from 7am to 5pm on Sunday 16th October to enable, weather permitting, the remarking of parking spaces and walkways.
The remarking will affect the following areas:
Accessible parking: All of the nine accessible parking spaces at the western end of the car park will be suspended. Accessible parking will temporarily be relocated to the first row of the 2-hour disc zone parking.
Motorcycle parking: The entire motorcycle parking area will be suspended. Temporary motorcycle parking will be relocated to the first row of the 2-hour disc zone parking.
Small car parking: All of the 60 small car parking spaces along the northern edge of the car park will be suspended.
Electric vehicle parking: All of the electric vehicle charging and parking spaces will be suspended.
Other areas: The entire row on the southern edge of the car park will be suspended. This is inclusive of the walkway and the electric vehicle charging spaces, 3 and 10-hour disc zone parking spaces in this area.
It is intended that the remainder of the car park will be repainted in 2023.
