I have been made aware that the Planning Inspectors are likely to recommend the planning application to change Greenacres Hotel into a dementia care home is refused at next week's open planning meeting.
Is the Environment Department able to comment on this?
Environment Department Response:
The planning report on the Greenacres application will be considered by the elected Members of the Environment Department Board at the Open Planning Meeting on 21 July 2015. It sets out a comprehensive assessment of the application, including statements in support of the proposed development and consultation responses. Under the responsibilities placed on the Department by The Land Planning and Development (Guernsey) Law, 2005 and the policies of the Rural Area Plan the report concludes with the recommendation to refuse planning permission.
The report is available to view on States of Guernsey website in accordance with standard practice.
