Ville Au Roi Estate

Wednesday 16 September 2015

The Environment Department is advising motorists that signage indicating a twenty-three hour parking time limit covering the roads of the Ville au Roi Estate has now been installed.

The change follows a period of public consultation regarding the matter and consideration of feedback received, predominantly from residents of the area.

Parking clocks are not required to be displayed but it will be an offence to park a vehicle in a road on the Estate for a continuous period of more than twenty-three hours.  Persons parking in Avenue Germain, Avenue Vivier, Avenue du Manoir and Avenue Beauvais (the Ville au Roi Estate) are advised that it will no longer be permissible to park a goods vehicle weighing 1.5 tons or more un-laden or that is more than 6 feet wide over-night or at any time on a Sunday or Bank Holiday, except for purposes of un/loading.

The signage already indicating a prohibition on parking near the entrance points to the Estate will remain in force.
