If you have completed A-levels or equivalent qualifications, Careers Guernsey can offer advice on what to do next.
A career with the States of Guernsey may offer a wide range opportunities for further training and development, while others might continue their studies with the GTA University Centre or the Institute of Health and Social Care Studies.
If you are looking for a job check out the Job Centre page to search different job vacancies updated daily. If you are a university student wishing to undertake part-time work in Guernsey or you are leaving full-time education to start work, you must:
- Register with the Income Tax Office so you can obtain a coding notice. If you already hold a coding notice and changing jobs you will need to update it here.
- Hold a Permit or Certificate which enables you to work within the Island. If you have lost your document you can apply for a replacement by following this link.
