Marketing can involve promoting available services, new initiatives or internal communications or responding to media enquires and marketing the island to tourists and businesses.
Communications has a strong focus on media and public relations. Responsibilities in this area include, but are not limited to, responding to local and national media enquiries, writing media releases and managing the States of Guernsey social media pages and website. Other responsibilities may also include arranging official visits, speaking with trade partners, facilitating new trade and working with other jurisdictions.
