Channel Islands Christmas Lottery First Prize Update

Share this page

Saturday 08 October 2016

In one week since the launch of this year's Channel Islands Christmas Lottery the guaranteed first prize has already risen to £415,000.

As in previous years the guaranteed first prize will continue to rise as additional ticket sales volumes rise across the Channel Islands. Instant cash prizes from £2-5,000 are also incorporated into the draw and can be redeemed by islanders who reveal a Santa Claus in the scratch area.

Malcolm Woodhams from the Association of Guernsey Charities said;

"It is great to see that the guaranteed first prize has already begun to significantly increase in response to strong ticket sales across both islands. Many worthy charities apply to us each year for support; some of these charities are small and may find it difficult to gain the exposure enjoyed by larger charities. We aim to help as many Guernsey charities as possibly with the proceeds from this draw, and buying tickets locally is one way of supporting good causes and being in with a chance to win one of the big prizes as well".
