It has been exactly two weeks since the last first prize update of this year's Channel Islands Christmas Lottery, and we are pleased to announce that it has risen again to half a million pounds (£500,000).
Malcolm Woodhams from the Association of Guernsey Charities said,
"It is great to see that the guaranteed first prize has now increased to £500,000, Many worthy charities apply to us each year for support; some of these charities can be small and so may find it difficult to gain the exposure that larger charities benefit from. We aim to help as many Guernsey charities as we possibly can with the proceeds from this draw, so buying tickets locally is one way of supporting good causes and being in with a chance to win one of the big prizes as well"
As in previous years the guaranteed first prize will continue to rise as additional ticket sales volumes rise across the Channel Islands. Instant cash prizes from £2,000 - 5,000 are also incorporated into the draw and can be redeemed by islanders who reveal a Santa Claus in the scratch area.
