Businesses requiring land or buildings for industrial or storage purposes have an extra week to tell the States of Guernsey about their commercial premises needs.
On 01 December 2016, Business, Innovation and Skills ("BIS"), a States of Guernsey service area under the political direction of the Committee for Economic Development, issued a questionnaire to more than 580 businesses, asking for information about their current premises and their views on the availability and affordability of suitable sites in the commercial property market. The deadline for responses was today [16 January 2017].
It has come to our attention that some businesses may not have received a copy of the survey, so we have extended the deadline to Wednesday 25 January 2017, to ensure that any business which was not aware of the survey, or which may for whatever reason need extra time to complete it, can take part. BIS will also be sending a reminder note to businesses contacted the first time around.
