  • Adult Social Worker

    Band 6 £30,246 - £36,504 BAR £37,697 - £40,974 per annum

    We are looking for an Adult Social Worker to join the Integrated Adult Community Care Team. The main purpose of the post will be to provide a high quality research based casework service to service users. The post holder will be based in the Integrated Adult Community Care Team. You will provide consultation, support, specialist advice and joint working within the integrated services to deliver person centred care and support. You will also provide training, consultation and supervision as delegated by the Senior Practitioner for less experienced social workers, support workers and student social workers. You will be based within an identified team, acting in an advisory capacity to members of the multidisciplinary team on social care issues relating to adults, educating or acting as a mentor as appropriate.

    An exciting opportunity has arisen in Guernsey & Alderney to a recruit a highly motivated and innovative practitioner to join the School Nursing Service. The practitioner must be a Registered Nurse with a Specialist Community Public Health Nursing Qualification (School Nursing). We are committed to putting patient and service user care first and we are looking for a dedicated School Nurse who shares our values and our passion for delivering high quality care. The small team of highly motivated practitioners deliver universal health input through the Healthy Child Programme and they are also responsible for delivering childhood vaccinations in schools on the Bailiwick of Guernsey. We offer excellent professional development opportunities along with formal one to one supervision and annual appraisal.

  • Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) - Practitioner

    Band 6 £30,246 - £36,504 BAR £37,697 - £40,974 per annum

    We are looking for two Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioners to join our team. As part of the Positive Behaviour Support Team, the PBS Practitioners will work alongside both children and adults with learning disabilities in a variety of community based setting. The PBS Practitioner is responsible for conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments, developing Positive Behaviour Support plans, and supporting families and staff teams to implement a variety of positive behavioural interventions. Newly (or soon to be) Board Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBAs) are encouraged to apply. Supervision by an experienced BCBA is available as part of this post. The post holder will report to the PBS Lead and be accountable to the Service Manager.
