HSC has been made aware of a requirement to recall a batch of EpiPens as they are thought to contain a defective part that may result in the device failing to activate or requiring increased force to activate.
If you, or your child, has an EpiPen 300mcg with a lot/batch code beginning 5FA665 with an expiry date of March, April or May 2017 please return it to your pharmacy for a replacement.
All primary care practices in the Bailiwick, pharmacies and the Medical Specialist Group have been advised.
