Contracts Manager

 Due to growth expansion, OCS Channel Islands is recruiting Contracts managers.

Ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service, operational efficiency and profitability for a portfolio of cleaning contracts, you'll take personal responsibility for key client relationships, contract performance, retention and growth. With strong communication and organisational skills, you'll manage staff throughout your contracts to ensure a well trained, highly motivated workforce, with a firm focus on staff development and performance.

The main responsibilities of the position are to:

Manage the delivery of all services to provide consistently high levels of performance, ensuring that contractual obligations and strategic objectives are met

organising specialist cleaning (carpets, gutters, window cleaning...),

Develop plans for the profitable growth of your area, defining key goals and timelines

Communicate clearly and positively to create a focus on business goals 

Build an environment where all staff are valued for their contribution

Build a network of close partnerships with customers, developing strong account management 

Assist to ensure high levels of staff motivation and productivity, improving staff retention

Support the sales function in preparing commercial tenders and delivering sales presentations 

Take an active part with Management in ensuring the retention of major contracts

Liaise as appropriate to ensure compliance with OCS and industry regulations with particular emphasis on health and safety

Develop and manage the performance of all onsite operational teams

Ensure compliance through regular monitoring and audits 

Motivate supervisors and staff throughout the area to deliver high quality service to customers

Personal Characteristic/Attributes

Self-motivated, results orientated, highly organised effective communicator, your will have the ability to prioritise workloads and delegate effectively to direct reports.  You will be able to mentor and develop others, counselling and coaching as necessary and have a high degree of interest in your own personal development and future career progression.

Role Specification/Requirements

Have evidence of "hands-on" operational experience and a track record of successful client relationship management

Have a flexible approach to working hours

Hold a full driving licence 

Be IT literate
