The successful candidate will work as part of the support team providing an efficient, timely and high quality secretarial and administrative service to the fee earners across the Financial Services Law team at Bedell Cristin.
This is a full time role at 36.25 hours per week.
Main Responsibilities include:
Producing and amending documentation
Scanning, photocopying and filing
Sending, retrieving and filing e-mail
Printing and collating large documents
Conducting company searched and producing reports on the results
Opening and setting up of new files and matters including conducting conflict searches and assisting with the client due diligence ("CDD") requirements for prospective clients
Maintenance of files and Bibles where appropriate
Dispatching documents by courier and ensuring the relevant paperwork is completed and passed to the Finance team
Dealing with clients by telephone and email and taking accurate messages
Updating Contact Manager and Business Development databases
Providing support to other members of the support team when necessary e.g. during busy periods, sickness or holidays
Assisting with the billing process
Adhering to all policies, procedures and regulations as required
Carrying out any function or activity reasonably required by the fee earners from time to time
