Assistant Building Fabric Manager - Guernsey
Having seen steady growth in Building Fabric divisional activity during the last 12 months, we are currently recruiting for an Assistant Building Fabric Manager to work alongside our existing Building Fabric Manager.
With shared responsibility for the Building Fabric Division, the role will cover a variety of duties required to ensure quality, efficient and proficient delivery of services carried out by the engineering team.
Key activities for the division include:
Building fabric works
Subcontractor management (specialist services such as; carpets, ceiling grids, roofing)
Building Related Surveys & Reports
This is client focused role and the successful candidate will be responsible to ensure the smooth running of the division. They will need to be a strong communicator and be able to evidence people management skills, be organised and able to manage multiple tasks.
If you have recognised qualifications in this field (City & Guilds or equivalent) or have a strong understanding of Building Fabric services and are looking for a new challenge we would like to hear from you. Particular interest in painting and decorating or sub-contractor management would be advantageous.
Additional info for this role:
This is a full time position (Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00)
Based at Garenne Park office (out of town) however there will be a requirement to conduct site visits on a regular basis.
Occasional call out works will be required
Due to the nature of the work the successful applicant will be required to undertake a full police disclosure.
