P.2018/10 - The States are asked:
To elect a sitting Member of the States as a Member of the Committee for Education, Sport & Culture to complete the unexpired term of office, that is to the 30th June 2020, of Deputy N. R. Inder who has resigned from that office, and whose letter of resignation is appended hereto, in accordance with Rule 16 of The Rules of Procedure of the States of Deliberation and their Committees.
P.2018/11 - The States are asked:
To elect a sitting Member of the States as a Member of the Committee for Education, Sport & Culture to complete the unexpired term of office, that is to the 30th June 2020, of Deputy J. A. B. Gollop who has resigned from that office, and whose letter of resignation is appended hereto, in accordance with Rule 16 of The Rules of Procedure of the States of Deliberation and their Committees.
P.2018/13 - The States are asked:
To elect a sitting Member of the States as a Member of the Committee for Education, Sport & Culture to complete the unexpired term of office, that is to the 30th June 2020, of Deputy A. C. Dudley-Owen who has resigned from that office, and whose letter of resignation is appended hereto, in accordance with Rule 16 of The Rules of Procedure of the States of Deliberation and their Committees.
(N.B.
1. Pursuant to the Constitution of the Committee for Education, Sport & Culture, a member of the Board shall not be the President or a member of the Policy & Resources Committee nor the President of the Scrutiny Management Committee.
2. Pursuant to paragraph 6 of Rule 16 of The Rules of Procedure of the States of Deliberation and their Committees the election will be conducted as follows:
(a) The Presiding Officer will first invite the President of the Committee and thereafter other Members to propose eligible candidates. Another Member must second each nomination;
(b) If no more candidates are proposed than there are vacancies then the Presiding Officer will put the election to the vote without speeches. If there are more candidates than vacancies, the Presiding Officer will invite each proposer to speak for not more than five minutes in respect of his/her candidate before voting takes place. Neither the candidates nor any other person shall be entitled to speak.)

Members may decide at the Meeting if this Proposition is to be taken immediately after the Proposition to elect a new President of the Committee or at another point in the Meeting.)
