Beau Cinema will move to Castle Cornet for one week in August for a series of special outdoor twilight film screenings of The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society.
Each night from August 19-25th at 7pm the top lawn will play host to an open air cinema and a big outdoor screen will offer locals and visitors the chance to experience watching the film about our island's unique history in the beautiful historical setting of Castle Cornet.
Nikki Symons, Head of Marketing & Events for Sport & Culture, said:
"The Castle is the perfect setting to watch The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie film while enjoying a picnic with family and friends, it will make for a memorable summers evening."
The film, which premiered in Guernsey in 2018 follows the story of writer Juliet Ashton and her relationship with an eccentric group of people who, having suffered the experiences of Occupation in Guernsey during WWII, find solace in books, reading and the simple pleasure of each other's company.
