VisitGuernsey has launched a new Microsite dedicated to Victor Hugo's life in Guernsey.
The microsite aims to capture the interest of those who have a love for, or are simply curious about Hugo and his work, and tie that interest to a holiday in Guernsey. The new microsite showcases locations that inspired this cultural icon as well as signposting the Victor Hugo related attractions that can be visited whilst on the island.
The site takes a story telling approach to Hugo's time in the Bailiwick, making use of specially commissioned art, historical photographs and quotes to help bring his experience of Guernsey to life.
Links are included throughout the microsite which encourages users to click through to bookable activities.
The microsite has been launched to coincide with the renewed interest in Victor Hugo following the restoration of Hauteville House.
The microsite is available in both English and French.
