After more than 30 years of service, the public lift at Edward T. Wheadon House will be out of use for approximately 11 weeks from the 28th May while a new lift is installed.
Public access to the building will continue as normal for the majority of customers as there will still be access to levels 2, 3 and 4 via the stairs. Alternative arrangements have been put in the building for any customers who are unable to use the stairs, to ensure that they can continue to access our services.
Customers are reminded that payments to the Revenue Service and Social Housing can be made online at www.gov.gg/payit.
The work to replace the public lift is being carried out at the same time as other building improvement works, which include replacement of the staff lift, installation of accessible toilets and improved accessibility throughout the building.
