The Lifestyle and Recreation Survey is closing on Saturday 30th November and Public Health Services are encouraging members of the community to take part.
The survey was launched in October and was sent to 7,000 randomly selected households as well as being open to the public aged over 16. The survey is available online at www.gov.gg/lifestylesurvey and paper copies are available on request by calling 707311.
Public Health Services are working with researchers from Liverpool John Moores University to conduct the survey which aims to understand people's recreation activities.
Yvonne Le Page, Public Health Business Manager, said:
"I would like to thank everyone who has taken part in the survey so far. We have had over 1100 responses but we would like to remind those that have not yet been online to do so before the survey closes on Saturday. I would also encourage anyone over the age of 16 to take part as we would like as many different views and responses as we can. The results will then be analysed by researchers at Liverpool John Moores University and a report will be produced early next year.
"The survey asks some general questions including the respondent's age and gender, lifestyle topics such as fruit and vegetable consumption and then about gambling, and attitudes towards gambling. Participation is voluntary and the survey is completely anonymous. The information gathered will be used to identify levels of need across Guernsey and to inform policy and service provision.
"If anyone has any questions or concerns then please do contact me on 707311."
